About the Journal

Monitor ISH (Journal for the Humanities and Social Sciences) has been published twice a year since 2001. The journal features scholarly articles in the fields of humanities and social sciences, ranging from anthropology to linguistics, in both Slovenian and English. All articles are available online. The journal publishes contributions by professors and students who explore diverse topics within the humanities and social sciences.

The journal applies a double-blind peer-review process to all submitted manuscripts.

Monitor ISH is committed to removing financial barriers to knowledge. The journal does not charge authors any Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, page charges, or color charges at any stage of the editorial or publication process. All publishing costs are fully covered by the publisher, ensuring that publishing in the journal is completely free of charge for all authors.
